Visit Taman Ayunn Royal Temple

Taman Ayun Temple is a compound of Balinese temple and garden with water features located in Mengwi subdistrict in Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Henk Schulte Nordholt wrote in his book Negara Mengwi that Taman Ayun was renovated in 1750. The architect’s name is given as Hobin Ho. The temple garden was featured on the television program Around the World in 80 Gardens. On 2012, the Subak cultural landscape of Bali including Pura Taman Ayun was inscribed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Visit Luwak Coffee Plantation

Kopi luwak is a coffee that consists of partially digested coffee cherries, which have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus). It is also called civet coffee. The cherries are fermented as they pass through a civet’s intestines, and after being defecated with other fecal matter, they are collected. Asian palm civets are increasingly caught in the wild and traded for this purpose.

Jatiluwih village in Penebel District, north of Tabanan, has paddy fields following the contours of terraced land against the background of spellbinding Mount Batukaru and Mount Agung use traditional Balinese irrigation known as subak, Bali’s community-based water control management system. Lies at an altitude of 700 meters.

Yande was such a lovely guide and host for our full day tour around Ubud. We had a larger group with 2 younger children, and he was kind and flexible with us. We had a full day of sight seeing, and didn't feel rushed. The day included a traditional dance, a coffee tasting, monkey forrest, the rice terrace, waterfall, some shopping and a delicious lunch. We would highly recommend choosing this company for the tour!

My husband and I did the tubing adventure. Yande was a great driver and guide! He was early to pick us up, very friendly and kind. He gave us multiple recommendations on what to do during our stay in Ubud and after our tour. He also shared some great facts about Balinese culture during the trip. Took some great pictures and videos of us doing the Tubing ride. Would recommend him to anyone!

Yande, and his tour was the most interesting and full we had in bali!!
